Job Description

Job Scope:

Under the direction of the Head of Resourcing and Talent Planning, the Talent Acquisition Partner plays a key role in the identification, attraction and sourcing of high calibre candidates for their designated business area at a variety of levels; sharing best practice with the Talent Acquisition team and across the wider group.

Key Tasks:

-          Encourage and facilitate visibility of recruitment activity between business leaders, HRBPs and Talent

-          Acquisition

-          Embed recruitment within business strategy

-          Deliver a high touch service to hiring managers

-          Ensure that candidates are receiving a best in class candidate experience

-          Build a proactive candidate pipeline

-          Consistently deliver the best talent possible

-          Take accountability for business areas

 

Key Responsibilities:

The Talent Acquisition Partner manages the recruitment process and candidate pipeline for a designated business area, general activity will be focused around, but not limited to, the following:

 

·        Responsible for the talent resourcing in assigned divisions/business

·        Takes full brief for each approved role, taking time to understand the needs of the hiring manager

·        Write job adverts for both internal and external job boards

·        Researches and develops long term candidate attraction strategies for divisional recruitment

·        Candidate Sourcing

·        Acknowledging all Internal and External applications

·        Shortlisting candidates

·        Arranging interviews

·        Detailed pre-screening/telephone interviewing

·        Competency Based Interviewing support where required

·        Running Assessment centres as and when required

·        Providing feedback to successful and unsuccessful candidates

·        Making verbal offers where required

·        Liaising with HR team regarding new starter paperwork

·        Completing verbal references as required

·        Administering Company’s psychometric testing where relevant

·        Responsible for record keeping of all interviews taken place and outcomes

 

Other

·       Undertake other duties under the discretion of the Head of Resourcing and Talent Planning

·       Provide support to the Group HR Director and HR team where required

·       Support other team members with sourcing during peak recruitment periods
