Job Title: Registered Manager – Learning Disability and Autism Service

Company: Thornbury Community Services

Hours: Monday – Friday


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Learning Disability and Autism Team as a Registered Manager, you will have responsibility for the activities of the Learning Disability and Autism division, as regulated by CQC. This includes maintaining relationships with existing clients, building new client relationships and ensuring the service is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led. The Registered Manager is responsible for ensuring quality assurance for the division and managing direct reports as well as Associates. This is a ‘hands on’ operational role with high levels of responsibility.

We are looking for someone with:

Previous experience in the sector
Working knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008
Working knowledge of CQC quality criteria
Experience in maintaining effective business relationships
Experience of managing a branch or business unit
Ability to organise and prioritise own and business workload
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong IT Skills
Ability to effectively manage and develop a team
Proven track record in people management
Responsibility for management of a small to medium size team
Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team
Self-Motivated and driven, able to work without supervision
Professional at all times
Enthusiastic and committed to business objectives
Ability to negotiate and influence others
Able to quickly grasp the ‘big picture’
