COVID-19 antibody testing

Antibody testing allows employers to check if employees have previously had coronavirus. Antibody tests look for antigens, which are toxins or foreign substances which induce an immune response in the body, especially the production of antibodies. If an employee tests positive for a COVID-19 antibody, this means they have already had the virus. Testing whether employees have already had the virus will allow both employers and employees to feel more comfortable about returning to the office environment.

We have exclusive access to the only accurate and approved antibody test available in the UK.

How will it work?

Our nurses will visit your workplace, take a blood sample from employees and send it to a lab for testing. Test results will usually come back within 48 hours and you’ll receive expert, clinical support and advice to interpret test results and talk through next steps.

The antibody test

‘The most accurate antibody test available to UK employers to help get people back to work.’

Through our partners, we have secured access to a coronavirus antibody testing platform which detects, with 100% accuracy, the presence of antibodies, even in individuals who only recently tested positive for COVID-19. Tests will be conducted using a blood sample taken from employees by a registered nurse. Blood samples will be taken in the workplace, sealed and sent to a lab for testing. The entire on-site process will be managed by our team of nurses, leaving you to focus on running your business.

Using a blood sample is the safest and most precise way to test for COVID-19 antibodies, unlike widely circulated finger-devices, recently prohibited by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

We can mobilise qualified nurses across the country at short notice, so wherever your place of work, we can reach you quickly. Our extensive pool of health professionals and large-scale testing capacity allows us to test 3,000 blood samples per day, that’s 21,000 each week. All samples will be tested in our partner’s laboratory, with results returned within 48 hours. You will also receive expert, clinical support and advice to interpret test results and advice on next steps.
